Fenix E01 as usual. I'm thinking of getting a E05. How much larger is it than the E01?

Barely thicker, IIRC; but yes, the E05 is shorter.

While I don't have a E01 to compare it to, I can say the E05 is certainly a cracking little light. :tu:

I'm just going with a light pocket carry today so I've decided on my Tank007 E07 with QTC pill.  Lots of light in a relatively small body. :)

I used to carry a E01 on my keychain and was really happy when upgrading to the E05 the beam is a lot nicer and way more useful. Plus you can use the clip from a tire gauge to clip it to your hat for some hands free work. The only downfall in my opinion is runtime but you still get a good amount of time out of a little light.

I stole the clip from my L0D and put it on my E05, fits like it was made for it plus has the right branding on it. ;)

Carried my black Maratac AAA today, just got them in the mail this morning. Can't believe how tiny this light is and the output they have. I got the SS polished model too, what a beauty. Definitely not the one I'll be taking to work haha.

Still edc the Quark MiniX. I forgot and left it in my jeans pocket and ran it through the washer a while back. Didnt faze it at all. No leaks or fog and still lit up like normal and still is to this day.

I took the E01 off of my key ring and replaced it with the E05.The E05 has better light output and about the same size.Both will do the intended job but the E05 works better for me.The E01 will be on my motorcycle key ring from now on.

I've been carrying the 47 AA tactical and a Fenix E01 for about two weeks now. I believe it's time to switch to lithiums. I left my E01 with an alkaline inside for a few minutes in the cold outside weather and it got dim. When I picked it up in my hand it got brighter again as it warmed up. And it isn't even that cold yet, only about -2°C/28,4°F (we had  -21°C/-5,8°F last year)

Have been carrying my old Nitecore Defender for the last week. Hasn't been in my EDC rotation for a while.

Got my high CRI Quark Regular 123 from Going Gear today.

I am pleased to report the tint is absolutely beautiful!  One of, if not the best, tints of any light I've ever had.  After my recent disappointments with 4Sevens, it has restored some of my faith in their brand.

The best description I can provide is that it's a peachy, rosy sort of tint.  I can see absolutely no green in it at all, on any level.  The hotspot is smaller than I'd like, having gotten used to what XML's can do, but I'm happy to live with it given the beautiful tint.  Some diffusion film will easily solve that problem.

I like it so much, I'm going to order another right away.

Today, I thought I'd try my 4500K Mac's Tri-EDC... You know there's nothing like a $200 EDC flashlight to make you check your pockets every 10 minutes!
