ThruNite T10 today. :)

How do you like it Gareth?
I was quite tempted in the past to add one to my order of Ti's (still tempted)

I really like it Tony.  The modes are well spaced and the mode memory function suits me very well as I've become very frustrated constantly having to cycle through low modes that I don't use very often.  The only thing I would have preferred is if it came with it's own pocket clip, though I managed to scrounge one to fit from another light.

i have a maglite solitaire clipped in my pocket today (not an LED version). i found it in my dads junk pile, figured he wouldnt miss it if i took it out :twak:. maybe im spoiled by modern LED flashlights, but wassup with this incandescent bulb?! i dont remember them being THIS dim .

does anyone have some interesting ways of re purposing this thing? was looking into the LED conversion kits but they cost almost as much as a streamlite stylus.

That’s the problem, I don’t think they are worth doing unless they have sentimental value  (I also have one I want to upgrade)

I know what you mean.  Is it a totally fresh and good quality AAA in there?  I'm also thinking a Lithium AAA will improve things a little but also not sure it's worth the cost.

US $6.80 with free shipping.

I made this video two years ago to the date. :ahhh Not a blinding amount of light but a big increase compared to the original incandescent bulb.

ZebraLight SC52 lately, bought after it got a lot of recommendations here. Actually, I find the ZL UI just fine, though I would have hated it were it not for people here giving good explanations.

One never needs ANOTHER LIGHT, but sadly one is mostly helpless in these matters! :D

Got my Eagletac DC25C Ti Clicky, and threw a little something I knocked up on it. Don't like the clip much (or any pocket clips for CR123 sized lights), so I don't trust it without some sort of lanyard.

Very nice...the Eagletac's are nice looking lights and well priced :tu:
I'd ditch the clip and just have a small split ring for the lanyard to fasten to ;)

Can't seem to find an Allen key which fits - tried 1.5 and 2mm.

LOL you think they would provide one...I used a small flat head screwdriver to take the clip off my NiteCore ;)

Having just been looking at the Eagletac's myself recently I'm sure I read that they are a very unusual size Hex screw, 1.55mm or some such.  I'm also reasonably certain I read that they'd send you one if you ask.

That's a good point... I shall start a charm offensive :D

Actually quite like it on the clip with the lanyard after trying it all day :tu:

Uuuu, that's a nice one. Luckily I don't have a flashlight addiction.

::) Who am I kidding? Off to google to find out the specs. :D

Carrying my HCRI Preon on the 1xAAA body with the clicky switch today.  Unfortunately, I busted the o-ring on the tail-cap switch, and the closest match I had on hand was just a tad thicker than the stock one.  Got it to go on the body okay, but now I can't seem to get it to unscrew so I can put it on my 2xAAA body.     Guess I'll be using it as a Preon 1 from now on!

Yes, at the moment I'm trying out the belt and braces thing. When unclipped from my pocket is has a good reach and it's easy to detach from my trousers at either end when needed too. I'm currently working on a bit of much thinner steel chain mail, but it's killing me! :ahhh

This one is Alu, so is very light and was easier to make.

Liking this system for the most part :)

Giving this thread a little kick-start. ;)  I've been happily carrying the same Eagletac D25A Clicky for months now, so I'm going to have to rely on you lot to inspire me into carrying something else. :D

ZL SC52 here today. I like the battery indicator function. (Click four times quickly, 1 to 4 flashes indicate battery state.)

I got a sc51w on me tonight.

I'm hoping to get a sc52 neutral for my birthday this July from my wife.

Same old Leatherman Monarch 300.  Actually, I did manage to find a spare on Ebay a while back, so I've been alternating between old and new.  Can't seem to find a light that satisfies my needs any better for the price.
