Oh my.  :)  yeah that is one show that I am a bit ashamed to say became a bit addictive watching on dvd the season collections as they came in.  The first time i watched an episode I shook my head with disgust but then watched another, then another and well the rest is history.

It comes from a few blocks away from me.  In fact, I almost put an offer in on a house that was about 300 yards up from the fictional Sunnyvale Trailer Park.  I have met all the boys at one place or another, and a few others from the show including Mr Lahey.

For me, one of the thrills of watching the show is seeing all the places I know, have been, or worked at.  The strip club in the movie for example is one of the bars I worked at a few years ago, called The Attic, and the "bartender" (large guy with tattooed forearms and glasses) was a doorman I used to work with there.  He's the drummer for a band called King Conqueror.  The theater where they stole all the coins from was the Cineplex Odion in Bayers Lake, which, up until the new one opened closer to me, was our theater of choice despite it being on the other side of the city.  The parking meters they ran over to steal change from was across the road from the pawn shop I bought my kayak at, and the bank machine they stole at the beginning of the movie was in the strip mall that Whoey's mother and sister used to work at.  The mall that Bubbles gets his shopping carts from (and where Ricky worked security at briefly) is where Whoey and I used to go when we were supposed to be in school....

Oh, and a block away from where my wife works is a restaurant called Bubbles' Mansion- a Fine Eatery and Drinkery which is owned by Mike Smith, the guy who plays Bubbles, and who by the way also writes musical scores for movies, including big Hollywood films.  :D
