I was looking for powerful keychain flashlight, despite I am very  happy with my Nitecore TUBE:

And searching for the well know alternatives:

MecArmy SGN3

And Surefire Sidekick:

I discovered these:

NITECORE TIP!   $29.95   (TIP CRI Price: $34.99)

NITECORE THUMB (with rotating head and clip!)  Price: $19.95  (THUMB LED whit UV led Price: $24.99)

And there is a

- NITECORE TUBE RL 13 lumens RED LIGHT

- NITECORE TUBE UV

These are interesting lights.  I own the the Tube, but it is one of the earlier versions that does not have the lockout feature.  The problem I have with exposed buttons is that the light will actuate in my pocket.  But using the lockout feature really slows down deployment of the light.  Maybe I am impatient, but I want to grab the light and click it on without have to hold down two buttons to disable the lockout.

For a keychain style light, I prefer something like a Fenix E05 as the twisty does not turn on in my pocket, but also does not slow me down when I want to use the light.  No lockout is needed.

But lights were my first love, before MTs, SAKs, guns, knives and Maxpedition products.  So I'm sure I will grab with a Nitecore Thumb and Tip when the time is right.     I was not aware these lights even existed.

I have ordered a TIP and a THUMB... also a 360. I already own a TUBE and from MecArmy the SGN3, so I will let you know once they arrive* :D

* That might take a while though
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

I have one similar to those that Corwyn sent me a while back.  I think Megan has been keeping it in her purse so I'm not sure how much use it has gotten but I will be sure to check the make and model with her and see what her thoughts are on it.
