My new light cannon

Sold a bunch of knives and MT's to fund this, just got it in the mailbox, can't wait till it's dark out. :D Supposely 800 lumen, but 650ish is more realistic.

Tried to take some long range pics, but the soccer field I usually do it at is in use tonight. Well another day then.

Very interesting, how far does it throw?

The beam isn't as tight as dedicated throwers with huge reflectors, but the sheer output goes pretty far.

Tried to do some last night, but air quality was pretty bad and reflection from dust in air overwhelmed target.

But basically in 300 ft everything is lit up. The hotspot will reach 600 ft no problem but that's far enough to not be able to tell what's being lit up.

Looks like a great light mate, looking forward to seeing the beamshots.

I've got myself something similar, the Wolf-Eyes Storm.  That kicks out a mighty lumen count.  Lights up a whole field no problems.

Holy shamoly! They're a couple of bright lights.  I do like the fact the one you have has multiple levels.  If I'm reading it right it can run at about 150 lumen's all night.  :ahhh

Yeah, it goes for ages between recharges.  Even on top output it last for ages, but does get hot after a while.  My main beef with it is the high pitched whine it lets out when in the 20% and 2% beam - its not loud, but just enough to bother me.  I don't use the lower output modes all that often, if I want something less bright I'll carry one of my fenix or olights.

The strobe is completely blinding though.  Even in daylight.

You can use 2 x18650's or 4 x CR123's I believe  :tu:
