Used my diesel's pliers to hold/rotate end pieces of surge while I adjusted torx security screw to straighten those little end pieces out, got pinched a few times since there wasnt much meat for pliers to grab onto.

I than used the file from the wave to file down the poorly finished part which is preventing the end caps from sitting straight. A little QC flub on Leathermans part, looks a little better now, is straighter but I need to repeat procedure on other side of tool since that one is crooked too. Heres a pic cause I think my giberish is not explaining it properly:...Notice the small horizontal rough edge on the ruler side of surge & the right angle where the steel bends up, this is from the factory and making things cockeyed

how bad is cutting cardboard? I do it possibly every day at work
I cut up two cardboard cartons using an Octane this morning at 0630am so they would fit in the recycler bin for pickup. I know, bad for the blade cutting cardboard, but she cut through like a razor.
At work we have a central vac system. it was all clogged. LEATHERMAN CORE TO THE RESCUE! I used- Philips to unscrew 6 recessed screws(thank the lord for the long driver), big flathead for light prying, pliers to remove 10 year old dirt, hair tennis ball residue and anything else I didn't wanna touch, philips for reaching and scooping out corner build-up, file for its length to help me jam a rag through a tube. All this cleaning was accomplished with just one MT and a rag. mission accomplished
Today I used my Powerlock to replace the wooden slates on my garden bench, it held the rusy old bolt while I cut them away with my Jr Hacksaw quite nicely. Yay for compund leverage Here's a picture of the finished seat, new slats made from some oak skirting boards cut down and shaped to sizeThe more I use my Sog the more I'm warming to it,
