I used the large flat driver on my wave to pry off the side panel on my dryer today.  The Teflon slides on the upper bearing had worn out and the lower felt seal came  apart.  I replaced them but discovered the green load bearing slides had also worn out and I was missing an adjustment leg and plate.  So another $25 in parts after shipping bringing the total repair cost to $50.  Cheaper than a new dryer!

Used my Balance for various tasks while putting up Christmas decorations.

Me and my brother have just just moved my parent's bedroom today, and had to fully dismantle the bed and wardrobes in the process, and of course put them back together again. Total dedicated tools were a small claw hammer, and an allen key. Most of the work was multitools though. Me armed with a Spirit X, and him armed with his CS4 (which was the one I had when I did my comparison with the Deluxe Tinker). On my part the philips, pry tool, small flat driver, pliers and chisel got the glory. I know he used the philips and pliers, but beyond that I'm not sure

Use my Wingman to change the lint trap screen on my washing machine discharge hose. It was handy for clipping off the old zip tie and cinching up the new one. Nothing big deal really but it is always handy and easier than going into the tool box for a razor knife and small pliers.

I like my Charge Ti much better but the Wingman is a cheap, easy pocket carry tool for the little stuff.

Today I used my swiss tool spirit and my Topeak mini ratchet to build a unit from Ikea. Then I used my super tinker to make some boxes to post some eBay items (from recycled cardboard packaging from the ikea item).

All good.

For all Pockettool X(Leatherman) owners!!  This morning I used the flat pry edge of my Piranha to scrap an extra thick layer of frost off the windows of my car.

Works far better than a regular scraper :tu:

I had to change out the fluorescent bulbs in a ceiling fixture and used my titanium .45 auto disassembly tool and prybar/bottle opener to pry open the stuck latches that let the hinged cover open up to expose the bulbs. Worked like a prybar.   ::)

Yesterday my Handyman and Electrician plus got quite a work out . The saw and skinning blade on the E + were used to open up a live electrical box that had been drywalled over , and sported no cover ! I probed for it with a short fiberglass rod , and cut a small hole with the skinning knife to expose the top of the box , and get the saw into play .

The Handyman pen blade helped extract a bunch of small splinters , and took the outer jacket off a lot of Romex . I used the metal saw on the Handyman to cut the head off a badly camed out screw , so that another box could be extracted .

the large flathead screwdriver on my wave gets used every day (or four times a day) to undo the locks on the engine compartment of my truck.

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY - Those scissors are the only way I can get into my bloody premixed caramel latte packets!

I used the serrated blade on my Wave today to slice off a low hanging branch that was bugging me in my yard.

I used my Swisstool Spirit to help me start my bike - a Yamaha XT - after three cold weeks unused and parked outside.

A couple of days ago...
After many (many) tries to start the engine, the battery finally gave up and the cylinder already had more fuel than it could burn... Hotwiring with my car, was enough for the starter to work but the excess fuel in cylinder was a deal braker...

Today I tried again a bit more prepared. Using ST Spirit:
- Long flat screwdriver unscrewed the side plastics which cover the battery.
- Blade cut some tape which I placed on a straw to widen straw's "mouth" enough to fit under the carburator's overflow tip (ok, I could just do that with my hands or my teeth but, where's the fun in that :D).
- Long philips unscrewed the overflow valve so I could empty the carburator from fuel into a small plastic bowl (so I could turn fully ON the gas to give the cylinder all the air it wants to burn excess fuel, while clicking the starter, without adding more fuel to the cylinder. Also, fuel switch was turned off so it couldn't send any more fuel to the carburator).

Thankfully, all went well and my bike was running again in about ten minutes :salute:

Also used: battery hotwiring cables, a fire extinguisher (well, not really used but stayed there just in case :D ), glasses, my wife in car's driver seat keeping car's rpm a bit higher than default, my two daughters playing in the car and hitting the horn a couple of times >:D (little devils).

I used the scissors on my Deluxe Tinker to cut open an envelope that came in the mail which had a PS4 in it. I made pizza for supper and decided to try the can opener on the DT for some mushrooms and tried the can opener on my Juice S2 with the pineapple. Both worked well. I'm such a wild man. ::)

Used my Cadet SAK to remove and replace car tag. Used the small screwdriver tip on the can opener on + head screws. Works great on + screws.

A couple of weeks ago, one of the contractors we deal with broke his wrist.  Today he came in to the store, complaining that the new cast he had put on today was too tight around his thumb.  The MP600's file took care of that.  :tu:  :)  I took a pic, I'll try to post it later when I get home.

Here's the pic I took.  Just filed down the cutout for the thumb a bit, made it a bit more comfortable for him.  :tu:  Plaster dust is a bit of a pain to get out of the file by the way...

I used the scissors on my SAK to cut open the cure and seasoning packages for some sausage I made today and used the file on my PS4 to take to corrosion off a battery terminal on a wall clock.
