Here's the pic I took.  Just filed down the cutout for the thumb a bit, made it a bit more comfortable for him.  :tu:  Plaster dust is a bit of a pain to get out of the file by the way...

Nice work Tom!¡!

Used the file/screwdriver on a leatherman style ps to pry up the drain stopper
on the bathroom sink.

Cool reflection of you on the faucet SAZ!¡!

I used the scissors on my SAK to cut open the cure and seasoning packages for some sausage I made today and used the file on my PS4 to take to corrosion off a battery terminal on a wall clock.

Really looking forward to see that sausage K!¡!

Used my Wave yesterday to dismantle and then rebuild a whole ikea closet. Funny thing, the friend that helped me had some screwdrivers, but the bits on my wave actually worked better  :D

I drive a refrigerated truck for a living at the moment, and the other day I was driving down a dirt road and as I pulled onto the highway, the wind caught the panel that covers the top of the condenser and yanked it up, right over the rings that hold it to it's latch posts.  These are pretty stout split rings, and they got bent up pretty bad.

Seeing as how I can't drive the truck with that panel flapping around, I had to fix it.  There are no tools on my truck but I always have my wave on my hip so I climbed to the top of my rig and took a look.  The rings had been squished because they were pulled through the panel, so I had to use my wave's pliers to get them off the posts in order to close the panel.  Then I threaded them through the eyelets and bent them so that the same thing couldn't happen again.  While doing this I dropped one of them into the condenser compartment behind the motor.  The space is only about an inch and a half wide, not wide enough for my hand, and the ring was about 6 inches in.  I extended the handles on my wave and pulled out the can opener, and was able to hook the ring and drag it to where I could reach it.

Safe to say I would have been stuck if I didn't have my wave on me.

Yesterday at the store I used my MP600 Pro Scout to put together a Big Wheel for the daughter of one of the owners.  Nice way to waste an hour on the clock.....  ;)

:hatsoff: I used my Wenger Esquire as a gift. On my way to catch a flight home I realized I forgot my Esquire in pocket. Since I wasn't checking a bag I gifted it to an older gent attending the rental car return. His big smile let me know it was appreciated.

Last week I used my Crunch to assemble a bookshelf and anchor it to the wall. A few days ago I used my first issue Wave to assemble Christmas gifts for our grand-daughter. tom.

I used my Victorinox Electrician and Compact SAKs on Christmas for opening various items.  Yesterday I used the small sheepsfoot blade on the Electrician to open a small makeup container for my wife.

I know what you mean.  Sometimes I will wander around just looking for possible reasons to use my multitools :D  It's funny too, because I have fixed things and taken care of things that I may otherwise not have bothered with had I not become addicted to multitools.

Yesterday I tightened ever door hinge screw upstairs with a bit inserted into my Leatherman Crunch. Today I had to work on my Davis weather station and a plant hanger next to it nearly pokes my eye out when I get near it so I used a flat driver bit in my Skeletool to remove the offending plant hanger till spring.

Had a Wingman in my pocket too just in case.

Oh well, maybe something bigger will break tomorrow!

Used the large Phillips bit on my Balance to tighten the head on my snow shovel, and the blade to open a bag of ice melt.  Sure need both here today!

:D Yep, they're calling for 4-6" today.  My answer to that question by the way is calcium chloride - it doesn't destroy the cement steps and walkways like salt does.

We don't get enough for it to matter either way. So I said rock salt
