You certainly love your cigars, don't you? :D

Love is putting it mildly Enki...............

I like cigars too, but I haven't had one it what seems like forever.

I smoke 4-6 a day usually. It's kinda difficult to smoke that many as it's cold outside. When I go over to the shop, I'll smoke even more    So tasty!¡!

The tale of "Little Chernobyl:"

Back in the eighties, when the Leatherman multitool was the niftiest new thing, I used to carry one on my belt. A co-worker nicknamed it "David." I didn't get it at first, but then it twigged, "Oh, David Leatherman... Dumb!"

One day at the plant where I worked, things were starting to go wrong, and my co-worker was scrambling to turn off a large valve to avoid all sorts of chaos that might ensue if he didn't do so quickly.  In his haste, the handle broke off.  After a brief moment for both of us, of chagrin and awful anticipation, he yelled, "Give me David!"  I was puzzled, and he yelled again "David Leatherman!"  I pulled out my multitool and handed it to him. He unfolded it, gripped the nub of the valve and shut it off.  Quick thinking on his part, not mine. It was the first of many times my Leatherman tool would save the day, over the years to come.

Oh I miss them.  Unfortunately (well, not really :)) I quit smoking about 11 months ago.  I do miss it at times.  I can't say that I feel any better as I put on some weight since quitting.  I say which is worse, getting winded and feeling out of shape because of gaining weight, or because of smoking?  Guess it's a tossup, but not smoking has it's obvious benefits.  Plus I smell better now to the non-smokers, and can pick up the scent of a smoker :)

Did a snow trip up in the Sierras with my wife and kids last week for four days.  My ST300 was an awesome help for the frequent chain installations and removals I had to do.

You should email this to Leatherman and they will put it on their website's "Tool Tales".  They would most certainly add it to their stories.  Last year I wrote them about my 10 year old son:  http://www.leatherman.com/Products/story?id=1654&c=70

I couldn't count the times I started a job with a Leatherman, intending to go and get the proper tools when it got difficult, but ended up completing the job with the Leatherman anyway.

So I walked into the kitchen, only to find my flex plastic kitchen cutting board melting on the electric kitchen stove. So after putting it off (no-one knows how it got on in the first place) I used my dcf tool to pry off all the goo-ey melted plastic while the stove was still hot. It did its work great I have to say  :salute:

Plugging in a clothes iron while it's sitting on a plastic shelf can give you the same sort of results.  Melted into the carpet also. Don't ask me how I managed to get out of paying the college dorm's damage deposit when I moved out.

I always reach for an MT first!  Only get a dedicated tool if the MT I've grabbed for the task can't actually do the job.  In fact, I'd say I use an MT and a SAK for small tasks more often than dedicated tools!

I used my MUT this morning to cut the wire that controlled the passenger side mirror after I crunched my SUV into a mesquite tree and dirt pile. Worked like a champ!¡! :tu:

Finally got to use my new Spirit X today. Mostly for cutting down boxes, but also used the wire cutters on some Cat-5, and the Phillips was used to adjust a security camera. Naturally it excelled at all of these, the driver didn't even slip!

I've been using the magnifying glass on my new Explorer to look at all kinds of things, just for the fun of it :)  I'm glad I broke down and caved to the urge to get it.  It's a very versatile SAK.

My first day carrying my new Spirit X and.... nothing, no use for it at all. I need to go break something so I can fix it.

Better to have it and not need it,than need it and not have it ::) :pok:

No you're not.  That seems to be the best way to use it as far as I can tell so far.

Same here.  Best way to use magnifiers it to hold the lens up to your eye and then move the object into focus.  If the object can't move then move your head. :D

I just ordered an explorer for that reason.  The magnifier is an awesome tool and i have been missing it since my swisschamp was lost in our move.
