Used my Leatherman Rebar can opener to open a can.
My multitools were effectively used to prove how stupid I am ... by leaving them at home

Nothing worse than needing one and not having it. I avoid this issue by having way too many backups. Sent from Tattooine while bulls-eying womp rats bigger than two meters.

The Manager just about managed the cutting chores, and everything else was done by scrounging around for dedicated tools I made sure I had my Spirit X and CRKT Edgie on me today though and didn't need them
Testing (and in some cases scrapping) all of our spare computers at work. The Spirit drivers are getting a lot of use today. Oh, and the file makes a WONDERFUL back scratcher btw Between today and my drywall project the other day, I swear the thing has paid for itself already. Mostly because of the back scratching capabilities.
We have been known to cut food with pocket knives... Traditionally in Europe people use single blade knives. So they cannot have a “clean” blade for food and one for “dirty” work. Some people will cut everything with their knife, then give it a quick wipe and that’s it.. Others will use the knife to cut food, then wash it and dry it. That is what I usually do. Of course it depends on what facilities are available where you use the knife. The important thing is to remember not to use the knife for food, after you have used it to scrape mud off your shoes etc.Another problem that may arise is from the oil used on knives or on their pivots; foodsafe or not and whether it makes any difference in the end, safetywise. (Huuuuge discussion in the knife forums..)I use oil just on the pivots and not on the blades so I do not care. Then you have to consider if your blade is SS or not and whether you like the colouring or taste left by non SS blades on your food. I cut a lemon and then an onion with an old 1095 knife and the onion was black at the cut.I have also used multitool blades for cutting food and clean pliers for moving food on the grill (LM Flair )
Took apart more computers. It's becoming the running theme for my Spirit.I did notice last night the blade isn't quite up to Vic's usual sharpness standards. It is now
