Is the cherrywood handle worth getting or wait for the ebony handle? Doesn't have a leather sheath but not sure how much itd be in it anyway.

Cherrywood would be different and I suspect to have a nice reddish hue. And different is good.

The new Ebony will be around, so get what you like first, then you know the MTo way will lead you to a Ebony model down the road.  (Walmart has the 110 for $35 normally, just waiting for the Ebony stock to arrive. )

You can always find a sheath, or share a sheath with your Ebony model!

LC, thats why I havent told my wife about this place!

If she knew what Im buying and the influences around me, she wouldnt be happy!

Im going to Walmart in a few weeks. May wait and get it there for $10 less. Im really not picky on the handles, I just wasnt sure if they were lesser quality or was just something different. I havent seen an Ebony in person, so I cant say for sure if Id prefer it. I just want a buck 110 non-slim model.

Im making an order on knifeworks and they were out of stock on ebony but had cherrywood.

This site can be god to know the bargains as well.

Walmart use to sell the 110 for $28 with the a nylon sheath.  In 2017 late in year they pulled all 110s and returned to Buck to restock again with leather sheaths, but the price increased to $35.

That is a beautiful knife.  Worth the wait!

Have you looked at Copper & Clad’s web site? They also list some on Amazon.

Then may not have to wait as long.

Can't upload a snap of my Chairman 110 at the moment. Imgur is being lazy.

Some people call it a collector's piece.......but mine is a user. Typically it sits on my hobby bench where it sees active use, but today, for Dunc, I'm going to pocket carry it as my EDC.  :tu:

Pics later, once Imgur recovers........  :-[

I think you would like the 110 Chairman.

It is a very good looking knife and would make a great EDC!

Looking closely at the edge, I guess I haven't used and/or sharpened the edge enough to smooth out the original grind marks. Buck's 420HC seems to take and hold an edge very well.

And, yes, it is still sharp........

Thanks, Speedy.

However, I feel my work here is not done..... So, I'll be posting a few extra 'use' photos today because 1) it's a Buck 110 and more fun than a box of kittens, and 2) who doesn't like photos of a Buck at play work?
