Hi folks, I recently got a SOG Micron and i am carrying it on a 550 cord necklaCe next to a Photon Rex light.

So what do you carry round your neck?

Apart from the reason that I can't wear anything around my neck because of my job (especially in the new place I will be working  :o) I have never got on with anything around my neck.

Being moved into another childrens home for a while to help out.  But these kids are older, stronger and even more violent.  :o :D

Ooh, not a good combination! When you started your job did you get taught modern safe restraint techniques? I do Mixed martial arts and i am a part time doorman so i like stuff like that!  :D

Ooh, not a good combination! When you started your job did you get taught modern safe restraint techniques? I do Mixed martial arts and i am a part time doorman so i like stuff like that!  :D

You are taught what is referred to as P.R.I.C.E. which is some restraint (no pain involved AT ALL though) and some ways of protecting yourself against attack.  You have to refresh that every year as well.

Black Dakota fisherman's timepiece
Black Streamlight Nanolight
Black lockback, a very tiny zytel handled Buck.

All worn on a black nylon cord lanyard with black adjustable cordlock and black safety breakaway.

In other words, everything is color coordinated and black.

safety breakaway.

Yes! very important to remember to have some kind of safety/breakaway in case it gets caught
on something, you don't want to be choked/hanged! para-cord by itself is dangerous, make or get
a breakaway :twak:

some of my neckers (woodswalker and dogfish)


judge others by how they treat those they are allowed to mistreat

which one? both are inexpensive, 15-20 usd (with sheath)
