Awesome Gerber Warranty

Last Monday 8/10 I mailed to Gerber a Ez Out Rescue that I bought with "problems". 

According to USPS Del Confirmation it arrived 8/12 and today in my mailbox was a brand new Ez Out Rescue.

I just thought that was awesome and wanted to share a thumbs up for Gerber. :tu:

Awesome!

I used Gerber's service department once and they went above and beyond and did something for me that was very much against policy.  It's great to have folks that really know how to look after customers!

Yeah, I honestly think Gerber's warranty is the best of the bunch. I have had good experiences with all, but Gerber went above and beyond my expectations. Recently, I sent an email to Gerber about a Gator fixed blade sheath. I had the knife for a few years and the snaps were all corroded and such and the sheath was useless. In less than 15 minutes I got a return email asking me for my address. I got a brand new sheath within a week!

You have to send back to the US, so it's the same (apart from a few days longer of course).

Not that I know of.  Both myself amnd Dunc (I believe) had to send ours to the US.

I would expect so. Mine was only a Shortcut so I didn't have that issue.
