Gad Zooks from eBay

Has a decent following, offers a wide selection of SAKs, flashlights and multis and has what's probably the best prices outside of Felinevet's store. I decided to try the guy (gal?) out about a month ago. Well, let's see:

1. Did not respond to messages prior to purchase, though she was extremely polite and friendly after.

2. Did not combine shipping despite her promises, negating any and all savings.

3. Failed to mention the item's color was different from the picture - green vs red, fortunately.

4. Took over four times longer to deliver overseas than a private seller usually does - one month vs one week.

5. Ignored my request to ship in a small container; it's a miracle customs let the package through.


So there.

Oh yeah. In my defense, Tim didn't have any of the items in question. I always ask him first.

I ordered a few items from Gad Zooks before ebay UK went all PC and pathetic.

I always had good service from them.  Its sad to see the standards are slipping.

Likewise.  Didn't have any issues with them.  Perhaps they're just getting a bit big these days?  It happens sometimes when a small business grows and loses the personal hands on touch.  I don't know, just guessing.

Shame. I've bought an awful lot of stuff from Gad-Zooks (prior to the UK / ebay ban) and never had any problems with her at all.
