Gene, those two butterflies happened to pass by while I was trying to take  pics of the bug and the caterpillar on the leaves of a calamansi plant at our front lawn. Then I followed them to their next stop.

I find bugs a lot more acceptable in a close-up photo than in real life. :-\  Great shots mate.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Here's another kind of tree ants very abundant in mango trees surounding our house. They bite or sting but their venom is less potent than that of fire ants.

Its called a Sea-Slater.  Its a relative of the common woodlouse, but it moves pretty fast when you pester it.  As I have discovered first hand :)

I used to love insects when I was a kid, this certainly helps to rekindle some of that inerest!
