Im thinking about a small fixed blade.  Bokers MA-2 knife, Kabar TDI-LDK, or CRKT Ringer Hawk.  Or maybe a small thick camp knife.

Spyderco Rock Lobster

I like it!

One of those rare Spydie models that doesn't look like a typical Spydie, if you know what I mean.  (Native is another model that doesn't have the look of a typical Spydie.)

+1... I really like the lines on that one.  :tu:

Stop taunting me with your mini   >:( :D
:D :D

I'm actually going down the woods this weekend, and I'm quite tempted to do one of my crappy reviews on it :)

 :pok: :pok:

Tool-wise I've got my eye on a Vic Spirit and a Forester or Trekker.  I'm not so keen on the OHT as I don't like the serrations and I feel the hump gets in the way when using the saw.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

That's what I found as well and IMO is not worth the trade off for the OH opening.  I have a Forester as well and for me that is a much nicer SAK with the PE blade and without that bump.  It also has that crucial SAK corkscrew.  :D

Obviously you'll disagree Gareth, but I just wished the liner lock was the other way round.  :(  I'd use it so much more if it was.
I'm back!!

Spyderco Rock Lobster

Now that I like.  I'll never get one though as I'd cry every time I had to leave the house without it. :(
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

That's a shame. :(  Did you get a chance to use it on your holiday?

BTW we'll make do with a load of pics instead. :D

Not really, but I did get to carry it everyday as the caravan park regularly get's broken into apparently, and I didn't want to take the risk :D

Try as I might I could think of a justifyable excuse for carrying it on the beach, as there was sod all drift wood :D

My first Mora knife! That's what's coming for me from Ben's Backwoods.  :mail:   Actually, 2 Moras are coming, a Craftsman Triflex #780 in carbon and a Craftline Allround in stainless. My first Moras! I'm sta-sta-sta-stoked!  :ahhh
