For those who appreciate smaller fixed blade neck knife designs, but don't like carrying around the neck:
http://sgtmikessurvivaltips.blogspot.com/2008/11/poor-mans-knife-harness.htmlVery quick and easy to put together with materials you probably have on hand already.
Works very well for carrying a knife without it flopping around like a neck knife is prone to do.
Mine is used to carry my fixed blade, fully serrated, CRKT Kommer Bearclaw when working out in the yard.
Bearclaw is my favorite for quickly trimming back vines, bushes, and smaller tree branches.
This harness it the best setup I've used for keeping a fixed blade handy for instant use, but otherwise out of the way.
