History Channel Axes, Knives and Swords
on: September 08, 2009, 01:41:05 PM
Hi All,
Well last night in chat i mentioned this particular episode of History channel's Modern Mavels: Axes, Knives and Swords and a lot of the people in there hadn't heard of it so here it is.  This video is part 1 of 5 I think on Youtube.  There's a part of this, I'm not sure where exactly that talks quite a bit about SAK's.  This part one starts off talking about ceramic knives and the rest comes later.  I liked it a lot when I saw it the other day.  Enjoy.

Well that's a very enjoyable watch for the most part.  My only slight issue is with John Clements and his physical interpretation of sword techniques but he doesn't say anything wrong.  Thanks for the link Kelly. :tu:

Some of it seems rather silly, right, but ill explained... :D

I spent some of last night watching it, thanks for the link Kellkells~
I was kinda disappointed, I thought there'd be a section on modern close-quarters knife fighting or something from the introduction.

*sad* :(

I also wish they'd have gone a little bit further and delved a lot deeper into some of the modern companies styles and such but overall I liked it.
