Gyrocopters
on: September 10, 2009, 04:35:59 AM
Anyone on here interested or involved with gyrocopters/gyroplanes/autogyros?  i have been doing alot of reading on them in the last year and I am very seriously interested in building one of these to fly recreationally.  They look really incredible and lots of fun, and aparently anyone who has ever flown one calls them "the best secret in aviation".  i'd love to hear some first hand accounts!

I love Autogyros and luckily have a lot of them fly overhead in summer :)

They are difficult beasts to fly by all accounts though :-\And you have to have had your pilots licence for a gool long while before they let you take one up. (at least in the UK that's the case)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

I do not know much about gyrocopters but I saw a power glider the other day and that seemed like a fun/inexpensive way to fly.....though I don't actually know how much it would cost.
