Random question, but why don't we look into the idea of linking to a java client and also posting server/channel information and just having chat through that?  It would save on server space, definitely, and cause less usage of the space already existing... it could be cheaper.

Someone look into that?

yeah I'll get to it... I had some other crisis to deal with first.

A client website got migrated from an old server to a new one (php4/mysql4 to php5/mysql5) and a bunch of stuff broke. Since they have all their catalog of merch online, and customers place orders via the website it was sort of important to look after it ASAP.

gonna look at the flags mod now...
