Lol - how the hell did you manage to get rust on a tool, in a drawer, coated in WD40, in a plastic bag?

Well they only ever get used for opening packs of hair gel and Budgey food

Don't get anything from Harbor Freight the quality is extremely low there.
Oh poor Dunc, that is devastating news An idea: try using some abrasive cleanser from your wife's kitchen. Either dry powder or the newer gel type. (Comet brand is most common in the U.S.) Put a small pile of it in the shiny area. Using just the tip of your finger, rub very small circles, figure-8's, and other random patterns back and forth and around the shiny spot. The idea is too dull down the shine without leaving a pattern or "grain" to it. If you see progress, try blending it in with the factory matte finish.
Thanks guys I'm hoping to sit down this afternoon and have a good look at it .Dunc
I feel your pain dude... even though they mock you so, I want to know that someone cares
Quote from: nuphoria on October 04, 2009, 01:07:52 AMI feel your pain dude... even though they mock you so, I want to know that someone cares No one would mock Dunc over such a tragic "disaster" BTW all, I used a diamond file yesterday and now it's dirty. You have no idea as to the pain I am feeling.
Have we seen any pictures of the "alleged" disaster..?
Not yet , my camera isn't that good . Its not that bad but its enough to make it not new anymore .
It was ruined the other day!
