Busted my bottle opener

Instead of going back into work to grab my EOD breacher bar, I used the bottle opener on my Powerlock and bent it by trying to pry a drawer open.

It was bent but operated just fine, but I coulden't leave weel enough alone and tried to gently bend it back in a vise...

I'm going to carry my BO Swisstool for a while since it's been pretty neglected since I got it. I'm officially on the lookout for a BO SOG bottle opener/flathead impliment..

Unless it's a high quality Victorinox or Wenger bottle opener.

And what about the axle ? Was it damaged due to the effort ? I have some concerns about that...

that is to bad. I use my vic bottle opener to pry several times a week

Not at all, it was one of my concerns also. The bottle opener bent (and eventually where I broke it) where the nail nick/cutout is. That's where the impliment is the weakest.

Actually, Dunc bent one of his SwissTools using it as a prybar while hot wiring his own car!
