I was in Warriors & Wonders the other day looking around. As usual there was an assortment of new knives
on top front counter showcase, usually assisted openers with issues, or some knives that have been
looked at and haven't found their way back into the showcase.
I picked up this Kershaw Cyclone and realized upon opening it that the torsion bar had issues. It made a
loud crack and wouldn't open assisted. I asked Jay if he sells these "as is" and of course everything is for
sale right?
So I ended up grabbing it for $40 out the door. Unproblematic it sells for $89 + tax.
I arrived home and promptly sent an email to Kershaw's warranty dept stating the model and the problem
and could they please just send me a new spring?
Just the other day I received all the pic'd hardware from Kershaw free of charge. I installed the new torsion
spring and all is good with the knife. Works just like it should.
Thank you Kershaw! Your top shelf!
So... extra I have two new pivot screws, two sets of handle screws, one extra torsion spring plus two back springs
if anyone needs any of these let me know I will send them to you (of course at no charge) for your Cyclone's.
