Sorry to hear all of that crap Medic mate. I so feel for you as I've been a psychological mess the past couple of months with problems with my (note: not ex) gf. My $0.02: just tell your ex what you think of her and of how she treated you so that you get it out of your system (better write a letter to her so that the words sip in and she can't answer back), then move on and never look back. I am lost for words of the encouragement, backup and advice that I have gotten. You should all know that I appreciate it and it means a lot for me.

 I talked with my ex today and I said everything that I had on my chest and she didn’t say much. She didn’t even protest when I said that she can forget all the help she was expecting  and that she had to be out of the apartment by the end of the month, she knows very well that she has f**k’ed everything up and she feels bad about what she did. But it was good telling her exactly what I felt.

A little update for the people:

On December 1 I am handing the keys over to the landlord and I am 100% done with the girl and the apartment. So I needed to have a chat with the girl to clear up some stuff regarding the apartment and the move.

So we started talk about what was going on in our life since we haven’t talked for a long time and then she told me that she has stared chatting with a dude that she meet on the internet, I asked if she was going to get involved with the guy and she said that she didn’t know but there was something special with him.

Now listen to this: One of the reasons that the relationship ended was that she said that we are on different places in our life, she want’s to settle down and have kids while I still wanted to live my life. I want to settle down but I don’t want to have kids just yet since I am not financially capable to support a kid and fully aware of the responsibility of having a kid.

But here is the good part, she is 29 and he has just turned 21! If I at the age of 27 is on another place in my life than she is, then what about a smurfing boy that has barely finished puberty?

I am sure of one thing and that is she is going to get used by this kid. She has one flaw and that is she believes the best of people until proven otherwise, I don’t think that she is really aware that people will keep up an act for as long as it takes until they get what they want and she needs to learn how to  be skeptical from day one.

The feelings that I have had for here is gone and replace by resentment and regret, I just can’t wait for here to get out of the apartment and I get my deposit back so I can start living my life without here in my mind and all the mess she has putt in my life.

I think you will find as time goes on, that this whole incident was just a little speed bump in life. You definitely deserve better, and this is a golden opportunity to get just that.
