Lets not jump to conclusions too fast based on his ethnicity, most of middle eastern descent are good people. Could it be true, yes...but lets wait for facts. For now grieve for the victims and curse him as a criminal.

I'd say that this guy is a terrorist, but only in the sense that anyone who flips out and kills a bunch of people is a terrorist. This guy was routinely exprsssing views completely incompatible with a serving US Army officer:http://apnews.myway.com/article/20091108/D9BRD8GO1.htmlHe should have been gone from the Army a long time ago. It's nothing short of a scandal and a disgrace that the Army allowed him to stay on as a serving officer.Ultimately, the Army brass has to bear a lot of the blame for the slaughter of innocents that occured..
So this man was fairly high ranked, and was not simply a recruit or "grunt". Pilots are also highly ranked and "screened" so to speak. Pilots and aircrews may be transporting bombs across America. This doctor had access to pistols, a pilot has access to several tons of flying metal, fuel, and possibly bombs.Anyone remember when a nuclear bomb was transported across the country by the military and no one realized it?Just sayin...nothing much you can do about an "errant" pilot, but I'm just sayin..
I feel for the Army, if they discharge him the Army have had allegations they discharge him because he is muslim, they didn't this happens.
