Mike basically it's four leds in one I.e MCE- RGB emitter or four die emitter each one a different colour out put  so instead of using all four dies at once the quark RGB use one die at a time really no more to go wrong just like a single die emitter

Cool idea, but I'm not sure that I would get much use out of it.  Might suit others better though.

It's more the number of options than led's that has me worried

The MCE- RGB emitter really is cool and I can see how this light would be useful to someone but I really have come to dislike having to turn the head of lights to get to different settings.

Its cool, but I cant see the need for it, and it's pricey($100) and a pain to cycle through the modes. I've seen some blue & red lights on kaidomain for about $14 each if you need that type of light.

This one reminds me of the 4 color bic pen.
