I don't remember being taught to flick open a knife in the Boy Scouts.  I must have missed that week. :(

I know I am new to one handed knives (I only have an 09 solider) but I never forget to get my finger out of the way

I think one of y'all needs to apply to Wired as a consultant to this guy.  :twak:

The Benchmade Griptilian is a fine knife though.

A tool reviewing tools...classic.  He just needs to learn how to open and close knives.  Yeah the OHT is stiff to open, but its not what I would dangerous, and closing it is kinda backwards for righties, but becomes second nature after a few mins.  I'll have to ask my Eagle Scout bro-in-law if he ever learned how to flick open a BM551.  I'm sure is answer would be no.

I suggested he starts reviewing blunt sticks and to leave knives alone :D

actually, I should do a video response comparing normal things a geek does, and the uselessness of his review

not ironically, the more they cost the better his review... perhaps he didn't want to offend whoever provided the $100 knife?

OK - the man is clearly a knob, but I can't argue that the "backwards" liner lock on the Vic OHO models needs a bit of caution.

I suppose if you're left handed it'd be fine, but most people aren't and it's essentially the "wrong" way round compared ot everyone else's locks.

It was also an eye opener to learn that the $100 Grip is "better" than the $40 Gerber - who'd have thunk it, eh?
I used to come here a lot.

Same here with my LM c301.  I've never cut myself trying to close it.
