SOG MicroToolClip Repair?

I came across a SOG Micro ToolClip that's missing the plastic plierlock at the end of the tool; is there any chance SOG would still cover it and replace the missing lock on the tool?

I didn't realize it was missing until I looked at the MTC review on the main site.

My green Toolclip is also missing the lock, but it's being traded and the new owner don't mind..  
But it will be interesting to hear the reply from Sog..

Just received a reply email from them; apparently it's been discontinued long enough as to where it is no longer covered under warranty.

Hmm, I guess I'll sell it as-is, then.
