Inherited another knife
on: August 20, 2016, 05:43:35 PM
So my grandma just passed away and my dad was going through her house and found another one of my grandpa's tri blade folders. He brought it home to me. I've never seen the brand before but it's obviously well used and abused my grandpa never used the right tool for right job. It's a Bowen USA  and I have another one of my grandpa's folders that's an old Buck 303. Just wanted to share.

A little bit of research found that ....

Collin Bros. ( 1970 -1973) sold,  became  Bowen Knife Co. , Atlanta GA,  (1973 to ? )

Knives, reportedly manufactured for Bowen, by Camillus located in  Camillus NY

Edit:
Bowen is still around
Looks like they sell a belt, with a buckle, that doubles as a hidden little dagger type knife
I personally would not  try to board an airplane with that belt on

Nothing like a knife that was used and owned by a loved family member.  Congrats.
