What is the difference between the Spyderench and ByrdRench besides the blade? I've got a ByrdRench, I'm not really impressed with it and keep it as a novelty. Same thing with the CRKT Guppie.

I've got a ByrdRench, I'm not really impressed with it and keep it as a novelty. Same thing with the CRKT Guppie. There are slight differences between the two. Being picky, the SpydeRench is slightly thinner than the Byrd, the opening hole is a different shape and the Spyder has a file while the Byrd has a rasp. Modern SpydeRenches are made in Taiwan, while the older ones were made in the US and ByrdRenches are made in China.Def
There is a bit of a comparison between the USA SpydeRench and the ByrdRench here:http://www.multitool.org/miscellaneous-tools/medium-tools/spyderco-spyderwrench/-byrdwrench.htmlI can't comment on the Taiwan SpydeRench as I don't yet have one.Def
