Way to go Gerber!!
on: December 18, 2009, 02:01:13 AM
So, the other day I shot Gerber customer service an email asking the cost for a replacement sheath and for the maintenance kit sheath that holds a mini mag as well. Anyway not half an hour later theres an email in my inbox from Gerber asking for my address so they could ship me both sheaths - complimentary. Wow. That right there is service, I know everything has been said about Gerber's customer service but when the people there are that helpful and quick to respond, not to mention going above and beyond what I had asked for it deserves recognition.

THANK YOU GERBER

Andy

Not yet..... Hopefully tomorrow. I did purchase a Flik for my Dad for Christmas today and played with it for a few minutes before I wrapped it, seems to be a pretty solid tool, separate from the stubby flat phillips driver and the itty-bitty can and bottle opener. I did like the size and thickness of the blades though they inspired some confidence.  :multi:

I did a brief comparison of the Flik and Freehand a while back. I'll see if I can find the link.......

I had an "old school" Gerber BO Multipliers that had busted blades,
I wrote Gerber a note and sent it to them explaining that I would like this one repaired if possible.

Couple weeks later I got a package in the mail with the Gerber in it not only did they replace the blades and all
but they sent me a NEW Multiplier and sheath.

Looking at the BO I noticed a X engraved on the handle, They marked it showing that it had been replaced already.

Can't complain with Gerber customer service.
