Good find Dave

Cheaper than the regular Skeletool  Are they clearing out stocks of the first blade design i.e. moving from the combo blade to the PE blade? I would prefer the CX with the PE blade but at £45 delivered I could live with the combo blade  :D Now to convince the missus  :o

I reckon it's probably a mistake - but they've apparently delivered a couple of them already ;)

I used to come here a lot.

I got my Wave for £47-99 and Squirt S4 for £22-99 at Argos in Aug/Sept.

Argos currently have a regular Skeletool priced at £64-99; I reckon it may be reduced soon too  :D Worth watching  :tu:

Hehe.

Well I'm glad you got in before the change mate :tu:

I know that the RRP of the Skeletool CX over here is 89.95, and Whitby's will only allow retailers to discount them by a maximum of 25% for about one month in each calendar year. So, 67.25 is the cheapest they are allowed to sell them if they want to continue to be supplied. It's shocking really.

It looks as though Amazon "got caught" ;)

I hope they honour your deal.....

Thanks Dave,

The order shows as £45 and according to their system it is on its way to me  :D

So any new Leatherman in the UK will be supplied by solely by Whitby's? Every DIY shop and online retailer? I did not know that  :o No wonder the prices are consistently high across the board   :twak:

Yes that's right, they have a sole import agreement with Leatherman Tool Group.

It has long been my opinion that by fixing the prices so high, they sell far fewer tools than they could, but they claim to know best!

Sadly no

I placed the order on Tuesday with free delivery; Amazon said it was despatched on Wednesday morning. I had expected by now. To be fair their estimated delivery date is Monday so hopefully tomorrow  :D
