Maxpedition Last Resort Tactical Attache Bag

I got this bag in a trade with Zepla some months ago, and I feel a little reluctant to let it go, but the reality is that I can't fit my laptop in it and it's therefore not getting any use.

It's practically unused, and is in "as new" condition, with no marks or signs of use at all.

Unfortunately, my works issued laptop is 17" and I think 15" is about as big as you're going to fit in this model. It comes complete with shoulder strap and internal inserts, including power-pack holder and velcro elastic strips etc. It's a great bag, top quality, but just not big enough for me.

The official blurb says:

The Maxpedition Last Resort Tactical Attache is designed to carry your tactical essentials in the most highly organized fashion, essentially what some refer to as a "bug-out bag". The main compartment is padded on all sides, has a hook-and-loop divider, and is large enough to fit a 14" laptop computer. On the front side of the pack, four separate pockets of varied shapes and sizes hold and organize your smaller pieces of gear. Between the collage of pockets and the main compartment is a CCW compartment, lined with loop-side Velcro for attachment of the Universal CCW Holster and Three-Clip Holder. On the opposite face, a fully padded organizer opens up as a document / tool / instrument pocket with extensive internal divisions. On the ends, there is a radio pocket and a water bottle pocket, both with bungee retention. Velcro loops on top of bag can retain a collapsible baton or a flashlight. On the bottom, rubberized material keeps the bag waterproof and non-slip. The Last Resort Tactical Attache can be hand-carried and comes with a padded shoulder strap. Main zipper pull features a button lock safety device, to prevent accidental opening.

Hennie Haynes have the Last Resort Tactical Attache Bag in black on sale currently at £115.95, but I got a much better deal than that.

So, what I'd be interested in is other Maxpedition gear, ideally a larger Tactical Operator or other Maxpedition laptop bag that can accomodate a 17" Laptop, but really, if I could trade it for anything I can use, that would be a result for me. So, try your luck

I think I have the Tactical Operator, and it's a great bag. I've had it for a year or so, and it gets a good pounding, and still looks brand new! Good luck finding what you need!

Hey Dave, I also have the Operator Tactical and carry a 15" MacBook Pro in the outer sleeve. The main compartment holds my 17" MacBook Pro (I just double checked). It has been my main EDC bag for work for about a year now and it's hard to beat.

Maxpedition has a newer bag that's slightly larger than the Operator Tactical called the Aggressor Tactical that will hold a 17" laptop without a problem.

Yeah - the Aggressor looks like the one I'm needing!

For this trade though, I'll take anything I fancy

I quite like the look of the duffels - they'd make great short business trip bags I reckon.

Yes, the Aggressor is nice but the Operator Tactical will work also. It's smaller and cheaper.

If you like the Backpack style, the Kodiak Gearslinger will hold a 17" laptop (at least my MacBook Pro). It's smaller than most backpacks and is the one shoulder strap style. I just got one and am using it on my "dog walks" through the woods.

For as many Maxpedition bags and packs as I have I don't have anything to trade you. I don't have any duffels and already have a Last Resort anyway.

I've seriously considered filing my work's laptop down a bit for this bag - just an inch or so less and it would be viable

I've been watching the prices that Maxpedition stuff goes for on ebay, and I reckon this will sell for a good price, but I'd rather just swap it for gear that I'll inevitably spend the proceeds on anyway!

If you can give me an idea of what you want I'd be interested in a trade. You would need to factor in that it may cost as much as 25 quid to send this to the US.

I'll be happy to give you some equal stuff in trade, but you will still need to shell out for shipping. Anyway, you know what I mean.
