"molded FRN handle and GIN-1 steel blade" apparently.

Looks good doesn't it?

Gin 1, that's a steel I think they used on some of the original Spyderco line.  Glad you guys are excited
about it.  Looks like the scales are nicely shaped.  The price certainly is favorable.
I personally like flat grind on blades better but you can't have it all sometimes at the price point.

Hurrah! Another EDC option... well, several options if you count the colour and blade type choice.

So who's getting a part serrated one then?  :pok: :D

I think I´ll get one. Prefer G10 over FRN, but the price is great!

Only thing I am concerned with is mine has developed some side to side play.  No big deal I just adjust every couple weeks, but with the pinned construction it worries me a bit.  You can only beat it with a hammer so much.

Very cool, I'm getting hooked on frn. I just bought a Spyderco stretch and it's a great knife!   :tu:

Very nice , might see if I can get my grubbies on one . Just that since I've got back into SAK's , it's hard to carry just a blade .

I'll need to hold one in my hand before I'd consider it but it certainly looks the bee's knees. :tu:  Someone needs to buy one before the next meet-up. :pok: ;)

Anyone know the weight of this model?

Even if the price wasn't so much lower, I'd rather have the FRN model than the G10 model.

Just prefer the feel of textured FRN in my hand.  And of course lighter weight is a plus for EDC.

Make mine MAROON!  ;>

Lighter is also good too, yes. It it's anything like Bryd FRN handles it will do me fine.

Maroon here too I think :)

Did a quick google search and there are no retailers in US selling the knife, at least not yet. The knife looks good  :D

Well no, you may have been right! It's a bit contradictory.

I have used Handy Nik Naks before (albeit via ebay) and they were fine, so if they have / can get these soon, I'm in for one. Or maybe two :D

Mmmm Maroon Claretand Blue

I did mail them to see if they had them in stock (no reply  ::)), and now they seem to have gone. Maybe they were a bit quick listing them?

True, but they had the full spec, pricing, delivery times and everything. I reckon it's official, but maybe they jumped the gun a bit.

I hope so anyway :)
