There is a foto of two First Mates with and without ring.
And on the other fotos are 4 different First Mates. The old one has an Elinox stamp and old style saw and old style bottleopener (with edge).

As the finder of 28 or so BRAND NEW/OLD STOCK IN THE BOX First Mates 1 year ago here in Seoul, I was the orchestrator that got them to a large number on this forum.  As such, I took numerous pics........so here is the "porn", from the outside of the store, to the inside display case, to several I shipped. Have a bib handy, it doesn't get any better than this:

Bren what happened to the boxes that held the individual knives ? How many did they hold ( looks like 6 ) . Just imagine how much one of those white cartons full would be worth in a few years  :o

I truly live in the black pit of SAKtivity that is my city. A place where nobody sells other then Wal-Mart (A single Camper), Canadian Tire (3 nylon economy models), and a small engraving place that sells 6 base model Wengers for twice the price.

How it would be nice to walk into a proper SAK store for a change.

Ask Felinevet.....I shipped all the knives to him in the cardboard boxes, with 3-6 individually boxed First Mates in each cardboard box.

Each cardboard box contained 6 individually boxed First Mates.  Those are the original packing boxes as well.  He also has NIB/Old Stock Grand Prix's, and Lord knows what else.  Been a while, I need to make a trip and see what he has.  I would rather buy from him now as 1. he is local and 2. prices are good and 3. lots of unusual stuff and 4. Swiss or non-USA packaging.  By mid-July of this year, I will be back in the USA, which means USA packaging.

Most importantlyl, GUNSHOWS!!!!  and I will be able to play with my MAIN HOBBY (firearms- the Department of MY Defense) to my heart's content.....

We actually have quite alot of SAKs here in the UK .I suppose my nearest is about 10 miles with a choice of about 20 different Vics including a Spirit  :o ( dont see many of them for sale in the UK ) all with good old UK prices  ::)

Believe it or not, some did, some did not.  The ones that did, the user guides were all yellowed due to age, and the ink was green.  Also, FYI: all the First Mates had key rings, and they all had   brass liners

I hope Tim kept the boxes , funny but I like certain packaging . I know what you mean about U.S packaging . I can't understand why they have different model numbers for the same tools    We're lucky in the UK as all Europe stock are the same as Switzerland .

If you can, do you mind taking another picture of the cases on the left of the picture, please, especially the one at the top lefthand corner?  Woah, the shop also has the other Victorinox collections.  Oh Chako... you know you want them. ;)
