New guy from Nebraska
on:
February 13, 2010, 05:58:18 PM
A friendly hello to all, glad I found you guys here, lots of good info. I think I actually know a few of you from the EDC, BF, CPF forums already. I am 35 but just started carrying a multi about 3 years ago after getting tired of running for a pair of pliers or a screwdriver for about the 1000th time in my life
. I've had a SOG powerlock, pocket plier, toolclip, Leatherman PST, supertool, blast, Freestyle, wave, charge, juice and recently got a SwissTool. Sold off everything except the Charge, Wave (backup if I break the Charge someday) Juice S2, and Swisstool. Now I'm trying to decide what to get for a real heavy duty tool, a SOG S60 2.0, a Surge, or just stick with my Swisstool. Also eyeing the Spirit, though the Charge probably does a lot of what it would do. I just got into SAKs recently and got a craftsman which I love.
Anyway, hello to everyone

Wellcome. You have a nice selection there. Maybe you could consider the supertool 300 also. Good luck.

Yep, I collect antique Marlin lever action rifles, the 1892, 1897, 1889, 1894 ect. People always think it refers to Marlin the fish but nope, its Marlin the rifle company. I have a weakness for old S&W's too, as you may have guessed from my avatar
I've considered the supertool, but I don't know, it doesn't have scissors or a bit driver like the Surge does

Nothing wierd there. Infact I understand the obsession! I am addicted to Mossbergs. Got close to 30 now.
