Wow it is amazing what these things sell for. I bought one years ago, still like new in the box. I like the ribbed one but it is just like the cadet that comes in many colors other than the ribbed handle.

That's a high price for a rough-looking knife, but I bet it'll clean up nicely.

Still, I've sold a new no box one and a NIB one each for not much more than that. o.O

I think the condition probably put people off. If that's mainly just grime on it then it was a fantastic bargain. If its messed up anodising then someone got it for a fair price.
