I was in a disposals shop with the usual collection of genuine disposals and new camping gear available, and saw a solitary opinel paring knife on a shelf, I grabbed it up, more for the novelty* because I'd never seen one before than because I need more cooking knives.
I'll try to get a pic later - nothing fancy, a blade, with a plain wooden handle.
Are these things common? I couldn't see them on the opinel website, and I've never seen them in kitchenware shops.
*advice to retail business operators - stupid customers will buy something if they think it's rare or the last one left or something
