Opinel Fixed Blade/Kitchen knife

I was in a disposals shop with the usual collection of genuine disposals and new camping gear available, and saw a solitary opinel paring knife on a shelf, I grabbed it up, more for the novelty* because I'd never seen one before than because I need more cooking knives.

I'll try to get a pic later - nothing fancy, a blade, with a plain wooden handle.

Are these things common? I couldn't see them on the opinel website, and I've never seen them in kitchenware shops.

*advice to retail business operators - stupid customers will buy something if they think it's rare or the last one left or something

I've only ever physically seen them on sale in France myself, but I've seen them on-line every so often. Good looking knife IIRC.

That's the one.

Mine is Inox.

I don't imagine it'll be any better or worse than other utility kitchen knives, but nice to have all the same.

After a bit more online research, It seems opinel do a range of kitchen knives - not so much in the big ol' choppers, but little vegetable knives, steak knives, and even a peeler!
