Is it almost summertime yet?? Tired of the cold and snow??

OK, so here in North Texas we do not always get a butload of snow every year but this year is the exception. 12.5 inches around the Dallas/Ft.Worth area in ONE day alone. I know the east coast and central states get this kind of stuff all the time or maybe are used to it but I think its time for the sun to come out and warm this stuff up a little.

I'm in Houston so i'm trying to enjoy the cold before the 100 plus humidity monsoon season hits.

I am with you on that but I am tired of all the slush,mud,ice and freezing rain. Wish things would at least dry up a bit.

i lived up in Plano/Mckinney/Allen before moving here. Brrr...DFW winters are cold.

I'm getting a bit annoyed about this weather. I like some snow and ice in December during Christmas time and such. But now I'm done with it. It makes everthing such a hassle. If I go out to the mailbox for example, I have to get my coat, scarf, gloves on to go out for 20 meters. When I'm at the mailbox and not have fallen down on the ice yet, I have to take my glove of the get the little key for the mailbox out, quickly get the mail out, put the key back, glove back on and try to get back. Than jacket of shake the snow of my boots, etc., etc....

Every little thing outside is such an exersice in this weather.

Very odd winter. Hardly any snow up here in Canada. Sort of a let down to be truthful.

Speak for yourself. It was almost summertime yesterday, and we were expecting 8" of snow overnight. I've just come in from shoveling, and we have over a foot already, and it's still coming down.
