Because wood cracking problem the entire run is on there, last I heard there are still 400 or so. Yeah they ship USPS express for international, it's $25 to canada but not sure about UK, do a mock check out and it'll show.

Bummer for the dude selling his on ebay for $275.00.

275$... Even regular street price was $190ish.

What would you buy them for, just out of curiosity?  If the handles crack, why get them?

Well it could be re-handled after a fair bit of effort. And there's plenty of wood filling product's out there if the issues aren't too bad :)

It would be a user though! :tu:

It's only minor cosmetic cracks, stick some wood filler or epoxy in there and you are good to go, or even just use it as it is.

Na, it's a fixed blade not a folder so they can't claim it's a gravity knife as they do with almost any other Spyderco.

Like Gareth said, it is a fixed blade and 100% legal.

The problem comes (again like Gareth said) with folding knives.  This is because customs seem to look for reasons to define something as being illegal (such as a gravity knife).  The good thing with fixed blades is that they have no leg to stand on otherwise no one would be able to have kitchen knives would they.
I'm back!!

I know but I'm supposed to be saving for a computer and belt sander...

Maybe when I get my sander I can 'knock one up' out of some bits in the garage
