I don't have one, but I have some experience with 2x AA lights and not a big fan of them because of the length. I prefer either a single CR123 or a single AA or AAA if getting spare batteries anywhere is an issue. YMMV of course
A 2AA light is very handy for those times when you need more light. With good rechargeable batteries, they are very economical to run.If you can stretch your budget a little, I would go with Quark AA2 or Fenix LD20.
I think my issue with the Quark is that (as I understand it) it reverts back to moonlight after it's been switched off for more than three seconds, so you have to cycle through levels to get to a moderate amount of light. Either that or straight into full blast if the bezel is left tightened. Same is basically true of the Fenix I believe. The feature I rather like about the ITP is that it has a level memory so as to come back on at the level you last used. Combined with the infinite level adjustment and I reckon it's a light that'll suit me.BTW this is all your fault. After Chako's thread about light where you suggested a 1xAAA, a 1xAA and a 2xAA, I realised that I didn't have a good 2xAA to my name.

The Quark tactical may be more to your liking with its 2 programmable modes. Otherwise, if the ITP fits your needs, go for it.
