clear browser cache? sounds like the DNS is stuck on the old IP address...
Sounds like the old IP address where the websites used to be is cached somewhere on your desktop. what OS are you using?
failing that I was going to suggest http://www.opendns.com/ the basic service is free, and they have good guides on how to set it up.
