Problems with the forum and Opera?
on: March 01, 2010, 08:32:59 PM
I can’t get aces to the forum when I am using Opera. No problem with IE it’s just with Opera. Any suggestions to what might be the problem?

some help:
I don't run Windows as my primary operating system, Bill Gates and co are more than rich enough without my support. I run Ubuntu, less problematic, and it's free!

I run a virtual operating system inside my main OS, it's made by Sun (www.virtualbox.org)

Inside that virtual OS, I have a Windows XP setup, with all the aforementioned browsers installed. The multiple IEs via: http://tredosoft.com/Multiple_IE

But why can I get the forum up on the laptop and not on the stationary?
They both are hooked up to through the same router. I just tried the main page and SOSAK and that went smooth but I’m still having issues with getting on the forum…….ARGH!!!!

Will try the browser catch

All I got to say is, I use Opera for EVERYTHING and don't have issues with the forums or other sites. Wonder why it's giving you such a hassle....

Sounds like the old IP address where the websites used to be is cached somewhere on your desktop.

what OS are you using?

Win7. I did a clean install of Win7 on the stationary on Friday and from the beginning I couldn’t get the forum up with Opera so I used IE. Butt now nothing works for me, can’t get it up in IE, Opera or Firefox. There where a short period I was on the forum with the desktop on Saturday but now it’s completely gone.

I had the main page, SOSAK and EDC source up earlier while the forum was off limits, but now none of the sites will up.
