Identify This Gerber
on: March 03, 2010, 10:48:08 PM
I have no picture but I saw it in a shop today. The staff were too busy so I didn't ask  ::)

It is a Gerber tool but looked like a long rectangular metal box type thing

That's really all I've got  :-\ Hopefully someone will immediately identify it  :ahhh I'm sure I saw it on here before

If we can't work it out I'll call in when I'm next in the area  :D

Good tool? Yeah, the quality is pretty good actually. It is built just like a Multi-Plier 600, which is generally considered the best Gerber makes.

The problem is the design itself. :-\ The LED light is quite weak by today's standards, and the boxy shape of the tool isn't the most comfortable to carry. Plus you have to open the "lid" every time you want to use a blade. A good Swiss Army Knife with the same blades makes a lot more sense from an EDC standpoint.

On the other hand, the Multi-Lite has a higher gee whiz whatcha got there! factor 8)
