Have you ever bought anything and as soon as you received it said to yourself "boy I wish I could get my money back on this one"? Well... this is the thread to share your stories of your not so great purchases. Pictures would be great and a little info on the purchase would be good.

Here is my latest stink bomb of a purchase:

It's called a "Silk Worm" and it's made by a custom knifemaker from Korea named Kim. His company is called Raidops. I usually love all of his stuff, but this purchase is a stink bomb!  :D

Specs: 3" long
          3/4" thick
          Heat treated titanium
          4.5oz  :o

What the heck am I going to do with this?   ::)  BTW, it only cost $100!  :ahhh

Stop by the farm.

I can give you a hammered on hunk of steel for less than 1/2 that cost!

Seriously, looks like Stone-Age Man tool.

Is the plan to trade the things away?  (If not I'll shift this thread elsewhere).

Ben, I was hoping to keep this an ongoing thread. A place where people can share stories of the things they wish they didn't buy. Should it be in the swap shop?

Okay, I get what this is, but doesn't making it out of titanium kind of defeat the purpose?

Also, I still regret the CRKT KISS.  Having a knife that disengages the lock every time you actually use it for something isn't that useful.

What is meant to be used as? Paperweight?
There is no problem that cannot be solved by the use of high explosives.

It's a hand hardener for punching.  I'm sure you could have a bit hanging out the bottom of your first for hammer blows as well.

They make a kevlar lined lead weighted police glove for that, and it is about half the price!

Mine would be this axe head that I got with the intention of sticking a handle on;

I have just never been bothered to since it arrived (wasn't cheap either).

If anyone wants it please give me a shout!  :D

Have you ever bought anything and as soon as you received it said to yourself "boy I wish I could get my money back on this one"?

Yup, been there on a couple of occasions. Traded the buggers away on the first chance. :) I'm pondering on whether my knifeless Fuse also falls in this category, as it is way too bulky for the function it offers, albeit it obviously covers a very "special" market sector.

And don't let Chako hear you say that:  that's the multitool he carries due to his job. :)

As for me, it would be:

That bloody knife... hell, the only reason why it costs so much is because I'm trying to get my money back on it. ._.   :ahhh

Too wide and quite a tad of lost space. I believe its the empty slots and the extra space needed to accommodate the plastic inserts that let me down. I had thought that, for the included implements, it would be at most as wide as a PST or Pulse but this thing rivals the Charges in that field... :-\

So your "issue" is with that whole line then.  That I can see TBH.  I was thinking you meant the Knifeless over the bladed model.

Correct. I don't own any of its cousins and never had the chance of actually fondling one. Being the descendants of the PST I had assumed it would be as slim and sleek but I guess I should have known better... :-\ Not that it is a bad MT in any way! It just seems not to be my cup of tea...

SAP gloves >:D 1/4 lb of lead across the knuckles and first joint makes for a serious jaw breaking hit. ;)
