CRKT STIFF KISS,everyone should have one!
on: March 13, 2010, 02:11:14 PM
Hi guys I just received a STIIF KISS from cgk,I can't thank him enough   mate  :tu:

I fell in love with it straight away in fact we're now blood brothers  >:D

Nice sharp point, great for giving blood samples

The CRKT STIFF KISS can be described as a tactical knife or IMO a utility knife,I can see me using this on camping trips with it's part serrated edge it'll cut through rope/paracord  easily  :tu: and is sturdy enough to do some light prying, being one piece steel very little can go wrong with it so I see it as being a dependable knife if or when your life would depend on a knife.

Here's a picture comparing with my copy STIFF KISS I don't think I need to point out which is which  ;)

Note the serrations,

The STIFF KISS can be carried in many ways with it's sheath i.e

Pocket with just the sheath,

Clipped to a belt tip up or tip down

carried around the neck with paracord

and comes with a belt adapter for left or right hand draw, one thing my copy came in handy for cgk had lost the belt adapter so I'm using it on the original STIFF KISS  :salute:

Knife and sheath,

I like the size of the STIFF KISS it's about 7 1/2 inches long overall with a 3 1/2 inch blade and 3mm thick AUS6M steel(I think),there's jimping to aid grip along the top and on the bottom"about where your middle finger would rest" there's also a good finger choil  to prevent your finger slipping onto the blade.at around 2 oz or just over it's very light so potentially you could slide it down your boot and forget about it until you need it.

Here's a picture comparing the back of both knives NOTE: the jimping on the copy I put there my self,I like the etching on the CRKT nice touch.

Is it just me but the copy looks bowed

Another of the back, well we have to have a back up

So there you have it a great little knife and that's why everyone should have one even just as a back up no nonsense knife  :tu:

Big thanks to cgk for getting this to me

Thanks Mike actually looking at the pictures my lacing is much better than cgk's but I guess he put it there as functional rather than looks,I had to try and make the copy at least presentable   :D

I was just going to ask that you fix my wrap.  It was done rather quickly and I never fixed it.
