Getting my Druchii tattoo slightly altered on Wednesday to get the face lightened up a bit

And it's going to bloody hurt, as it'll be the THIRD time that area's been tattooed over now

Anyone else had cover up work done?

I've had touch up's done a few times.

I'm actually booked in to have another thursday AM. Then I am thinking of finally finishing my sleave off (will be mega bucks though)

DOB and kiddies names together with Ella's that I got years ago. Then I want to get something for our lost baby, probably something designed around 09-04-08 (his DOB). And then getting the tribal done to tie it all in like I have on that arm already.

Nice touch getting something for Beau too

I kinda fancy getting my left sleeve done with a stylized Thor's hammer, but exposed tat's are no no at work $:-\$

I am really torn about what to get though.

All of my tattoos are odd and don't really have any meaning unless you ask me and I'd like to keep that up. I may just get 090408 in some bold text on my lower arm.

Or 9 4 8 in some sort of symbols or language was another idea. I like the idea of having another language as I already have chinese, Hindi and English and so another one just adds to my whole multicultural theme.

Tattoos are fun- I actually want to start one of those reality/documentary type shows called "Real Tattoos" in which I take along a symbologist and a translator to read people's tattoos and tell them what they really mean. You know, like those folks who think they are getting the Kanji symbol for peace, and what they are really getting is Kanji for Lousy Tipper. I know the show will be a success the very first time I catch someone on camera saying "No wonder I get crappy service every time I eat in a Chinese restaurant!"

I've actually been thinking of approaching the CBC with the concept!

I also thought about opening a strip mall with a liquor store, tattoo shop and laser therapy salon, so you could get drunk, pick up the cashier, tattoo her name somewhere, then have it removed when you sober up.

I've thought of having a couple removed. I have a letter on the inside of each of my middle fingers, where it touches my pointers. Did them myself with a needle and india ink decades ago when I was out of control....lol. Got a few more that need touchup though.

Thats a darn good concept! A lot of people will be surprised what their tattoos really means! Seen one big muscle bound man with a love chinese symbol tattooed on his back I don't know if its really what he liked it to mean.

I've got to figure out how to add to one of mine. I drew up the design and the guy followed it for the most part but he kind of messed it up and now I gotta figure out how to make it not so dark. I know that makes no sense. For right now I think I'm done with tatts. Do we have a show off your tattoo thread? If not we should. But I'm too chicken to start it.

I've got one alteration and one cover up planned for the near future when funds allow, but they will be my first of that sort, so I have no recommendations for how to go about it!

(both of them are to change tattoos chosen in passion to something patriotic - I'm not usually a patriot, but It's not like Canada is going to get upset if I have a symbol of love for my homeland on me

)
