I just recieved my new(to my hands at least) Vic Compact from Fisting_chili.  I must say....far below par.  My experience with him was anything but pleasent- never responded to my messages, sour attitude, terrible item description, overpriced, snail-speed shipping, and the list goes on! :ahhh

I guess this goes without saying but I will never be trading with him again. >:(

Eh?  I had a deal from Fisting Chilli, some of the stuff was not in tip-top shape, but pricing was fair and the dealing was fine.

I had no issues dealing with him and would do it again.

Sorry your experience did not go as well...

PSYCH!!!
I was waiting to see an objection cuz that was far from the truth. I've been waiting drumming my fingers for 15 minutes :D

Actually it was the complete opposite of my faux feedback.  Something went wrong with my paypal, they limited my spending til a new month cycle started so I had to wait a week before I could make payment after we closed the deal.  He was more than patient and checked in at least twice to make sure everything was being resolved.  Compact was in impeccable condition and cleaned up real nice, speedy shipping, very very reasonable price, THE LIST GOES ON!
Great guy to wheel and deal with :tu:

below is my new pal-

He.

Tis ironic since I was bidding on that compact too.  Oh well, I got a couple 91 mm golfers instead.  Will use one for parts, but the other one is too nice to strip apart.

I was originally gonna use this for my swisschamp mod because I could use pretty much every single part on it....but idk if I can do it :-X  It might join my EDC cuz it compliments the PL quite nicely :tu:

I got a swisschamp in shambles right now, I got it used and there are some parts I need to replace and I needed a coombo tool.  So basicly all the parts of a compact can be shoved into my SC.

Gotcha. I asked because my first mod was building a Swisschamp from knackered old parts. It was good fun :)

Some of the tools were rusty, corroded etc - and you can still see that they are pitted if you look close, but overall it's a good knife. I do use it from time to time, and I remain proud of it, particularly as it was made from scrap :)

That's pretty cool!

I plan to do some mods myself, likely in about a month.  It's inspiring to see people's work!

Great job!

It would no doubt be more satisfying to put a tool you made yourself to work than one you just ordered. there's pride in it, and blood if you are clumsy with slipjoints(ME!) :)

Hahaha!  You bum!  You didn't say a Victorinox compact so I thought you meant one of my wife's makeup compacts.  I was thinking, "Hm...thats a little weird...but its Kmarr so OK!"  Your fault for not being clear! ;)
Very funny Kmarr...I'm bummed I missed this the first time around.   Thanks!

I feel like a jerk.  I just realized I didn't say anything about my positive experience working with you too, Kmarr!  Feel free to give me a bonk...  :twak: Sorry about that!
Anyway, aside from the paypal issues (which is bound to happen to us all at some point...), everything went smooth as pie and I'd definitely deal/trade with Kmarr again!  Thanks buddy!
