Billy Bob's Dairyland in Branson MO. Just a little hole in the wall place. Family owned but they make the best burgers. Several of the "stars" in Branson go there and eat. HUGE burgers.

It's a chain but "5 Guys Burgers and Fries" is our family's favorite burger joint. The only ones they like better are the ones I make on the grill.

ew... I have both a BK & McD within 5min walk of my flat, in the 5 years we've been here we got McD once, and only because BK was closed (something about not getting a shipment) and it was the vilest burger I've ever had. The wife couldn't even finish hers. That being said we get BK once every 3 months or so, usually only when we have no groceries left or are after a quick meal solution. A lot of the time we make our own burgers... much better. I just wish we had a chip machine like they do!
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

McDonald's (the best)

Wendy's (mainly older people who don't get my order right :twak:)

BK (don't even went to think about the people who work there :dwts:)

Although I do go to McDonalds at times, I wouldn't rate anything of theirs at being any good at all.  Actually I take that back, they do good hot chocolate.

In the spirit of keeping with thread-on-topic, I have a burger place called "Sutter's Mill" that makes the best burgers in the world!! REAL BEEF! hear that? REEEEEEAL BEEF! and a stand that you can shove anything you want on it, like a mountain of sour pickles!!!!

in terms of service, like yud mentioned, here's how I see it-
Mickey D's - never even notice I'm at the counter
BK- usually mess up the order but they're the best
Wendys- they don't even know what they're own products are called

But this is judging on years ago before I quit fast food

Huey's in Memphis.
There's a little dive down the road here called The Pilot House that has some great burgers.  It's a local institution and the 19th hole for the public golf course.  All the food there is great, but the burgers and fried catfish are standouts.

If I'm going to eat one at a chain, I'd pick Red Robin.

It's hard to find a good burger king but when you do they beat mcd hands down anyday. I remember when i was young i could eat 2 double whoppers and 2 large fries no problem. Enough food to choke a mule. :o

I think it was Mobberly Ave, just off the interstate.  In November they would smoke turkeys for people.
One semester I delivered for Dominoes Pizza (next door), and the manager used to experiment with BBQ pizza for us on slow nights.

Burgers are not traditional food here, so there are hardly any burger places that are not part of a chain. We have McDonalds, Burgerking and Hooters but also an Austrian chain called Papa Joes. Papa Joes is more of a family restaurant during the day and a nice evening restaurant with cocktail bar and cigar lounge in the evening hours than a fastfood place and offers Carribean and Cajun food, steaks and Burgers. The burgers are great, pricey, but great.

The best burger place in Oslo is Robsrudjordet Grill, most people don’t know about it since it’s located at the city limits but they are jammed full almost every day

I don't even know if this place is still there or not, but the best burger I ever had was from a place called Susies.  It's a little place back home that makes the best burgers and biscuits.  Huge sandwiches, but awesome.
