Have one but don't carry it.   Would be different if they offered a bluntnose version. Untill then I will stick with my 600 :multi:

I like the Diesel, but if I'm honest, mostly because it follows the MP600 design rather than the other whacky ideas that Gerber came out with at about the same time.

A perfectly competent tool though :tu:
I used to come here a lot.

I've got a well used Diesel I bought a few years ago, and it's in my rotation.  I use it quite frequently for various tasks.

All you jerks are making me want a Gerber!
I was looking at the 600, I like the blunt nose but there's no saw nor scissors.
Which led me to the Diesel, IT HAS BOTH.

What does you guys think?

The Diesel packs a lot of useful tools into a set of one-hand-opening sturdy pliers. I alternate EDC and this is one of my favorites. It fits very comfortably in the hand and is extremely well-built and easy to use.

I'd of preferred blunt nosed pliers too :)

But you can't go wrong with the Diesel :tu:

Well I posted photos here:

http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,18595.0.html

My 1/2 pennies worth...

I like it quite a bit. Very close to the MP600 line.

the deisel is my favorite gerber from the last couple years. it has nice implements and works well.
the only tools I like better in the gerber realm are the 650, pro scout, and maybe the 800. I carry the deisel occasionally, more than any other gerber.
