Damn

While sparring earlier today, I threw a sloppy kick, my partner trapped my leg then heal hooked as we went down, a bit too hard and fast. Anyway my foot is in a lot of pain right now, I was supposed to be covering a shift at a club tonight but don't think i can :-\ Might get it checked out tomorrow

Training counts as the most dangerous part of any sport!  I hope it's nothing serious, but if it's still causing you problems tomorrow, go see a doctor.  Meanwhile, take some anti-inflammatories and drink lots of water.  A tensor bandage may help, as could some ice.  Do what feels right, and keep off it as much as possible.

Trust me, you don't want to mess around where feet/ankles are concerned....

I hope it ain't nothing too serious either, this could lay me off work for a while.
I have taken some Neurophen and drinking plenty fluids. It has swollen quite a bit, I'm hoping that it is just a ligament injury and no bones are broken  :-\

I think I'd opt for bones if I were you- soft tissue injuries are a pain in the butt!

The wonderful thing about broken bones is that you know for sure when you've broken them.  If you are in doubt about whether it's broken or not, it probably isn't!

If the swelling is that bad, definitely put some ice on it as it will help take some of the swelling down, and assuming nothing serious is wrong, will help you get back on it sooner.
